On May 26, 2010 Palmali Group of Companies has signed Memorandum of Agreement for purchase of two Aframaxes type tankers with 107 400 mtons of deadweight each. First ship will be delivered ex-yard by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Yard, Japan by end of July 2010 and the second one from the same yard in September this year. Both ships will be taken over by Palmali Shipping and will be redeployed to Black and Mediterranean Seas for further employment under existing long-term contracts for transportation of crude oil and oil products.
